So to be clear I need to replace the flasher in the fuse block in the drivers dash with an HD one?

Instead of buying that you should just buy my truck. I'd like to sell it. PM me if you want more info. It costs more but it doesn't need mechanical work either.

Looks like the truck will be a lot of work to get it looking new again. I would love to have a 5 speed in my truck and that would make a very cool truck to cruise around in shifting gears.

Maybe offer the guy $2000 cash because you'll need to do the plenum repair, fix all the rust with new panels, and other parts here and there. It would look real nice if you got the rust fixed then used bedliner to make the bottm two tone, then put a small lift on it with some nice mud tires and aluminum wheels

I'm going to see what my dad thinks again, but I was playing with some numbers. KBB says the trucks worth (PPV) $3100 in good condition.

$3100 -
replacement body panels ~ $300
paint (or bed liner?) ~$100
replacement front bumper ~ $100
Possibly replace plenum? ~$150
Replace a few lines ~ $ 50
Hitch - $150? not sure on this one

That would leave $2250, and I think I prob. overestimated on some of those if anything. That would be a lot of work, but it'd end up being a nice truck with a 318/5 speed and only 80k miles..Could be a nice truck I think. I wouldn't say it was neglected really. They definitely needed to do something about the body but I guess it didn't bother them lol. But mechanically, they seem to have taken decent care of it.

Just discussing the possibility.

Edit: Forgot about a hitch.
