How do I replace the speed sensor?

if the the abs lights and brake lights went off then just reset your comp, disconnect your neg cable and turn your key on for about 10 seconds to drain the power to the comp, forces it to reset. hook the neg cable back up an crank the truck and the CEL should go off.

For future refference if you do decide to change the one on the tranny

this one is of the nutural/reverse light sensor, it's right next to the transmission oil pan on the drivers side


and if you look above it you will see your speed sensor.



heres a picture of the area so you can kinda guage where it's at

hey yak, i can't see your pic's very good.
but are you taking pics of this? its on the output shaft of the trans or t-case.

Yea thats the one, i cant get a real good pic of it cause my f-in skidplate is in the way, just kinda tryin to give him a general area to look at
