Default P740.... brand new trans TSB?

I've bought a rebuilt trans, i went for a jasper (please don't all attack me, I've just had and knew a few people who swear by them) anyway... 40 miles into it, I threw P740 (Torque Converter Clutch Circuit Malfunction) and the T/C went and also fouled up the trans. Now, I spoke with Jasper and they're covering everything 100% but the rep said the mechanic probably didn't make himself aware of the big TSB issue, but they're still honoring the warranty. He said the TSB was from what I can recall something to do with alternator noise causing the T/C to unlock and lock hard which if it's hard enough can cause severe damage to the trans from what it seemed like he was saying.... anyone hear or know when I can read this TSB I can't find find anything that links the alternator to the torque converter... lol. I just want to understand what the heck this guy is talking about...

Is he talking about the TPS - Throttle Position Sensor? A worn one can cause the T/C to lock and unlock.

Check your blinker fluid if your airbags go off.

He definately said TSB... I know for sure he said alternator noise... which I actually kinda believe because right before the T/C went out on the stock trans there was all kinds of noise coming from the alternator pulley and still are (just dying bearings in the pulley I assume). I just don't understand how the 'eff the two relate.
