Default Is this seat in correct position? pic

I have been looking for a sub box that didn't take up any footroom for the kids, and left enough space to mount an amp under the rear seat.

I kind of like this Q-logic box, but doesnt it look like the seat is not all the way down in this pic?

I have looked all over and can't find any other pics.

That thing looks like a retarded cup holder, and no the back seat looks like it is resting on it.

Its not, just looking at the height of it shown in the pic. No way that is sitting level or locking for that matter. Sorry man.

Build your own low profile box. or have a stereo shop do it and you can mount the amp under the middle seat up front on the floor, that is where mine is any way.

Yeah, I have looked at that. The amp I want to use has kind of a large footprint at; Dimensions: 18-9/16"L x 10-3/8"W x 2-1/8"H
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...ht_3862wt_1165

And then go with the mtx thunderform for the subs.

I'm gonna go measure for the amp

Its not sitting right, slightly tilted upward. Although that doesnt sound good for some, your kids might think otherwise. The rear seat on these trucks are not very comfortable at all, sometimes it feels like you are gonna fall forward because the seat (at rest) is almost perfectly level. Adding that slight tilt might make it more comfortable.

But wouldn't it be a possible safety issue with the seat not latching?

The seat can only go up and down. Unless your kids weigh less than 5 pounds, I couldnt see it being a safety issue.

Your in a Dodge Ram. Safety should be the last thing on your mind!

Not when it comes to kids, I wouldn't trust that seat the way it is.
