hypertech programer question
so i was on craigslist today, and i came across a hypertech programer advertised for a 1998 ram with a 5.2 or 5.9. my ram is a 97 with the 5.9. now i know this could be a stupid question, and im only asking cause it is a pretty good deal. But could this programer for a 98 work on my 97?

NO. hypertech is year specific, which is why they are bastards.

their website lists only the current 'max energy' product. you'd need part number 52000
for the old product - power programmer 3, you'd need part number 50002
