Another responsible vehicle owner. A properly operating cat does not hurt performance on the average car or truck. Whatever minimal gains there are will be at the upper end of the RPM range where almost no one spends any time driving at. BTW, did you know that it is a federal crime to tamper with or remove any aspect of a vehicle's emissions controls? Minimum $5000 fine if caught not to mention impoundment and forfeiture of the vehicle. I'm no tree-hugger, but there's really no reason to do this unless you have a bad one and are just too cheap/broke to replace it.
Just stop talking... Like the other guy said the rear o2 has nothign to do with running rough like you suggested on page one. Then you just said you were talking about the precat sensor.... again which doesn't matter. It is in charge of mixture and could care less about whether you have a cat or not. You don't touch the front o2.
