Default exhaust help within 30 minutes help~

im about to go get my exhaust done cowboy cut out the back, what i wanna know is if i take my cats off will my mileage decrease? right now its straight piped from cats back....and will it hurt my truck? ima search for a similar post as well dont flame me tellin me to go look please need this help fast...its an 01 ram 1500 5.9lgas.

ok well im readin on here now that if i take my cat off it will mess my truck up? if i take it off and i put it on before inspection will i be ok? and will takin the cat off mess the truck up

it MAY throw a check engine light, but theres tricks around that....if you get inspections, you might wanna gut the shell and weld it around your pipes for looks or get a high flow cat

but as for messin my truck up it will be fine other than passing inspection right? i just got inspection done a week ago or so...so idk.

I have no cat on my truck and nothing is wrong with it, and yeah you should be fine except for passing inspection

if you didnt do the non fouler trick i would think the 02 sensor not getting a reading will mkae it run rough

nope.....for the 15 jillionth time, the rear sensor has nothing to do with the running of the truck
