is it just me or does the side view pictures make it look like the truck is bowed down in the center?

It's not off, but what happened was about 6 months ago, I had to pick up a huge roll of carpet. It was a surprise pick up and I didn't bring any straps or even my tailgate. The idiot driving the forklift said," I'm going to try to stick it under the toolbox". Gah. Before I had time to say no, he popped the clutch and took off. The roll went under the tool box just fine, but when he got off of it, the roll popped up under the box and stripped out the screws holding the box in. Couple of weeks later, I took off from a stop sign and the box slid all the way to the back of the truck. Not wanting to lose a 300# tool box in the middle of a busy intersection, I jammed the breaks and it slid forward. A little harder than I wanted it to. When it hit, it bent that upper lip of the bed into the cab. I don't have it perfectly aligned, but I do have it bent back out to where it isn't rubbing on the cab.

and that guy at the scrap yard running the magnet wondered why i gave him a funny look when he asked if i wanted him to get some steel out of the bed. i don't trust anyone with any kind of machinery around my truck aside from myself and my dad.
i have a nice dent in the front of my bed from a torque converter off my friends gmc that slid from the back of the bed to the front in a hard stop. i swore i got rear ended.
