Pulley Alignment Issue
I am tired of feeling like I am snakebit. One step forward 2 back. Got a laundry list of things to do go out tonight to get a head start and say you know that squeel is a new noise lets take a look. An hour and half later after research and dealing I realize that the Alternator and A/C Compressor are to far back. I mean less than 1/8 of an inch but you can see it is off.
This was a pull it off and put it back on thing with my conversion. Original parts nothing changed. There is no way to adjust them they just bolt up. I pulled the pulley that goes between them off to make sure it wasn't just sticking out too far because I put it on wrong. It only goes on one way and it is on correct.
I am lost.
Also the water pump is new. I checked the Pulleys on the Alternator and A/C they are not loose. If you look at it from the side you can see the belt is tweeked just a little in. Also you can see because on the idler pulley the belt is not riding where it should so I know it isn't a loose pulley or anything it is an alignment issue.

That is the thing this it is a new issue. I have run the motor alot since I have put it in and the squeek is new. These parts are the some ones from before I pulled the motor and since I have had it. I took the alternator up to AZ to check pulled one out and it looked the same. My pulley turns just fine I am 99% sure it is misaligned.
Here is also where it gets interesting. This is a brand new belt and when I noticed the squeal I said hmmmmmmm maybe it needs some belt dressing because it is new when I sprayed it, it actually got worse.
You can tell it is off by looking at the idler pulley the belt is not running were it should, and also if you look at the tensioner you can see it is cocked in just a little.
Again I am LOST.

look at the water pump and make sure that it's not crooked. maybe when you put the water pump on one side of the gasket is pushing it out on one side throwing it off alignment. just a thought ?
Well in attempt to help someone who may do a search fixed the problem...............i think for now
When putting the motor back together I goofed. When you mount the tensioner on the engine the bracket for coil attaches to it. It has an upper and lower mount on the tensioner. I put the top hole behind the tensioner bracket and the lower mount in front of the tensioner bracket
and that made the tensioner all catywampus. Fixed that the the squeel is GONE
