what you think as compared to this one?

i know i could probably piece parts together cheaper but i need a list if anyone has.

Those Spal fans are only rated at Airflow 2070 cubic feet per minute, 4140 total.

The summit is pulling 5900cfm.
And some summit fans for about $80 each.
What summit fans could be used to pull 5900cfm at $80 apeice? 4000cfm is doable.
And do you really need almost 6000cfm of airflow to properly cool the 5.9/5.2 engine.
I ask because I too am also interested in doing this but dont know if the 4100 cfm would be enough or do you need the 5900 or is it just over kill?
I too would like to save some money doing it.

i have the perma cool setup it is wonderful i live in vegas and have had no problems the fans are aluminum and very well made. let me just say about the other fans that are cheap in price you get what you pay for because they will not hold up as well imho

Did you notice any increase in mileage or horspower like they claim?

i didnt notice seat of your pants stuff but i did noticed less drag on my engine and i gained a little over a 1 mpg but also i have aftermarket headers, magnaflow cat, also accel ignition system and fastman tb so honestly they are helping also with the performance and gas mileage. it also cools better now than with belt drive fan
