just dig around on your engine and see if you can find something that it goes to.

Please fill out your profile info. Other than you having a V10 3500, we know nothing else about your truck in order to try and help you. Where did you get that vacuum diagram? I have been trying to find something like that for a long while.

As you have a hydro boost brake system which works off your power steering pump you do not need that vacuum port. As you said the PO had it pluged, it should be pluged. Why it runs rough that is something else.

Miami_son: that diag is in the Haynes manual on page6-3 fig1.3c

I never said the po had it pluged it's been wide open. I just don't understand whats making it run so rich with no CEL
if its supposed to be plugged then my only guess is it was running rich before and the po plugged the plug to lean it out then.

Quote: posted a pic lol its a big pic too post #3 i found the line it's the big cad vacuum line the former owner unhooked it and plugged it now I'm trying to figure out why he did that my 4x4 works and the indicator light works but like i said the only issue I'm having is the clicking in 4x4 only.

I read this and took it as the same vac line.

I went out and looked at mine after you're other post, and the port and hose run to the right (looking from the front) under the air filter..... Then I don't know, could go to the booster I'll check this weekend when I have time to trace it if you want.

The hose on mine does indeed go to the front of the brake booster.
