Your right it doesn't list the tranny code, I wonder why. On my truck after one of the tranny lines is shows (46RH). Take a look at the tranny on the passenger side of the tranny there is a buldge with a connector on top. The 46RH has a 3-pin connector the 46RE has a 7?-pin connector. There should also be a park neutral switch with 3 pins on the side of the tranny so don't get confused.

Any update? Did the band adjustment fix the weak reverse condition?

Well the band adjustment was part of it, they found some broken rod or something inside too...parts came to about $65, but they had to pull the tranny and pretty much gut it to fix it so labour was about $600 more. Still, not too bad considering the original quotes!
