Default Second trans this week

Alright, my oem trans was toast, the next trans blew out in 40 miles and I'm now 50 miles into the thrid trans and theres slight surge starting in overdrive... this is how the last two went and both were the T/C failing. I can't for the life of me figure out why this is happening!?!? Can anyone shed some light on this please, I've absolutely had it with this truck and the cost of rental cars.

surge in overdrive can be the tps (most likely), a wire on the bottom of the valve body rubbing through the insulation or a cracked spark plug wire (that's what mine was from, #8 to be specific).

where are you getting your torque converters?

Did they blow out all the tranny lines? Could be an obstruction, especially if any parts blew in the previous tranny.

You're all going to flame me but I went with Jasper because of the warranty... the T/C's are coming fom them. The reason I'm blaming the truck is because the OEM one failed the same exact way. I can't see the TCC failing on every trans no matter where I get it form. I had a BWD TPS in it that was all fouled up... it would initally idle @ 1,500mi and then die back down... would the TPS kill the TC? If so I'll just order an OEM and try at this again.

The first jasper I recieved was junk. it shifed near 3,000 rpm even if u were at 1/8th throttle.. they admitted error and sent one straight from Kentucy as opposed to one of there satilliete remanu. plants in my area. This one thats in here is shifting strong, a tap of the gas will break the back wheels loose and shifts very clean... its just this t/c that keeps coming out of lock up on every transmission in the damn rig.

No help on your problem but for your TPS:

The BWD sensor I bought from Jason w. has been working great for the past 15,000 miles, but I dont expect it to last the same 165,000 miles that the factory one did.

i use to work in a garage and my boss did side work for his friends after hours, and id sty to help to learn more. well on 3 different occasions, we put a jasper tranny in the vehicles. 1 was a Acura MDX, 1 was a Chevy S-10, and the last was on a Dodge ram van. All three failed before 30K, and with the warrentees we had to fix them......and since ive been injured, the Acura cameback again for it wouldnt shift past second gear.

just an FYI
