I've decided to keep my truck for another 2-3 years until I graduate from college and get an engineering job. When I do that I plan on buying a used 03-06 dodge ram 2500 4x4 with the 5.9 cummins.

I agree that these trucks are very easy to work on. There is not much that I can't work on when it comes to my truck. I have the usual troubles with mine, cracked dash, loose steering, belt noise, ect. But I really don't have that much invested in it. Paint scrapes and a shopping cart dent or two here and there. I just can't justify doing any mods to it with its age. Just keeping it looking fair and reliable are enough for me. I am looking at a bit larger tire, just to fill the wheel wells a bit (255/70-16) Laredo AT. Good price on them at my local Wally world.

Until I die.

But, that doesn't mean I won't ever have another truck. I might get another newer one just so I can have two Rams.

But honestly, I don't think this truck would ever be worth selling or trading in. Nobody will ever pay enough to equal it's worth anyways.

Will never get rid of it. 1 I am too cheap to buy new. 2 Hate all the new stuff on a truck I dont need sooooo I dont want to pay for it. 3 Due to things beyond my control I am on my fourth one. A '96 two '99's and my '01
