Default Small rim...?

I have a 2001 offroad quad short box.. It has stock 17 inch rims, I am not rich and when it comes time to replace the tires can I at least down grade to 16 inch rims? Or will my elite dual piston calipers rub? I mean today I will have to start saving for new 17 which is what i will do if i have too.

Yeah, you can swap down to the 16'' wheels. How much money do you want for your Off-Road edition wheels?

Ha no worries, I will be keeping the rims either way. I just want to know what options I have. I try to keep two sets of tires for my rigs or at least my jeep.

My winter tires / other tires.

Thanks for the info!

Your rims are worthless you better just give them to me. I will pay shipping. Haha. But really there pretty spendy so if you sell them make sure you get a good price on them. Btw if your looking for low priced tires, look in to treadwright.

But still, I dont know how much money you will save in the end a you are buying wheels and tires. Treadwright has some good prices on 285/70/17 tires for your Off-Road edition wheels.

I have always though the 2001 Sport Off-Road was the best looking Ram ever made.

What burns is I was not planning on this truck. I have been a Jeep guy for a while. I was speaking with my wife and her sister told her there was a lady at her work trying to get out of her truck payments. I asked what the total price was and it was in budget for a small truck i was looking at. All i knew when i went to look at it was it was a Dodge.

This ladies husband was a dealer for Chrysler and told me all about it. After the first test drive i was hooked on it. He told me that he had the tranny flushed every 15k miles. It runs like it's new, unbelievable.

It has a few minor issues tho which i think i have found the fixes too.

Heat only on hi.... (Ceramic resistor under dash)

Tail Gate doesn't like to close, its like i have to shut it slowly and tickle it at the same time for its to stay closed.

Sunglass holder is broke... It hangs been close to getting the hot glue gun out.

Other then that is has been great!!

That transmission should last you 200,000 miles if it has been flushed like that. Just make sure to keep up on it. That sounds like a very nice truck. Wanna trade?

I 2nd that.

My new tires were around $550, 285/70/17s, but I did get them through a friend that is a distributor for Goodyear. They are Kelly Safari Trex.
