Another way to really quiet down the cab noise is the move the muffler itself to the rear of the truck just right before, or after the axle.

AMEN!!! I'll take a quiet muffler that still has a nice rumble over some loud *** muffler anyday!

Thats why I hate my Dynomaxx that is dumped right at the cab. I really need to get a tailpipe at the junkyard.

im sitting with a leak free exhaust out to the rear..stock size..super 40,gutted cat and its perfect..id like to ditch the cat..but im code free, and idiot light free.and id like to keep it that way

sides..its fine the way it is

Ditch the cat if you want to. 94's and 95's don't have a second O2 sensor that checks to see if the cat is working. I ran with no cat for about a year and didn't have a single problem or check engine light.

did your MPG change up or down ?

EDIT: cause i was planning on keeping the o2 and use just pipe..but im worried about my MPG going down cause an improper O2 reading
