Sick and tired of loud muffler!
Well after doing a bunch of highway driving and probably some minor hearing loss.. I decided to re-do my exhuast system.
When I first got the truck I chopped the muffler after the cat and installed a 40 series with a turn down... pitured here

after driving for about 6 months decided that it was way to loud in the cab and switched to a 50 series (SUV) to lower the cab noise.. it did.. but there it was still really loud... so this morning I moved the 3' back to the rear axle and installed the stock tail pipe

The sound in the cab is soooo nice... you can tell there is a little rumble but at highway speed it's very quiet.. and it has a pretty nice sound outside as well.... I know you might be scratching you head saying too loud?!!?!? But I work in the construction industry and spend 8+ hours a day on the back of a paver that's about 120db.. When I'm heading home.. I just want it a little less nosie... I've got my 40 series for sale on here somewhere
