Default Play in power steering box.

I have noticed that there seems to be a bit of play in my steering. I got under neath the truck yesterday and noticed that the play is in the steering box. All of the linkages in the front end are nice and tight as well as the tie rod ends. My question is can the steering box be adjusted or do I just need to replace it? Thanks to all in advance.

try adjusting it first. if that won't take up the slack, then replace it. its expensive.

1. Steering box adjustment
