see if you can return the bumper attachment and exchange it for something like this. they're sold at walmart and other places. it mounts to the frame, accepts a drop ball, has 5000/500 capacity.

that bumper attachement will yank your bumper out of adjustment, and its only a 3000/300 class 2

what you have posted right here is what was on it, only thing left on the truck are the 2 sides where it mounts, it rusted off. Thats what i was gonna buy from TS for 140.00, it was rated at 5000/500 but then i seen this little guy made by reese rated at 3500/350 and thats plenty for a 4x6 trailer and a quad i thought. Whats left of the other hitch might be kinda hard to get off thou lol

yeah i know, i'd been ticked off, was goin down in a hill, first time i'd had my son in it, and it started soundin like my front wheel was gonna fly off, no one was flashin lights behind me or nothing, pulled over at the bottom of milton hill started shackin my front wheels and jus happen to walk around the truck an there she hung, held on by one side, twisted it a couple times and off she came, im guessin it was prolly on there since the truck was made.

25$ got me one at a junkyard. Then I hacked it up and welded it on the front.
