well my truck needs new tires and a new tranny, and possibly a front u joint, totalling between $2-3k, and continue eating gas like potato chips, or get a 69 beetle with a worked 1600. lol. i love my truck, its my favorite vehicle ive ever owned, but ive invested $9k into it and i need to do this work now, and the gas is whats really killing me because i travel a lot

 

Mabey just buy alittle used honda or toyota, something thats good on gas as a DD and keep the truck has a project/offroad toy.

 

Well if it needs all those things it not worth much right now so I say keep it. Do what Weldor suggested and but a car for milage (or a motorcycle for the summer).

 

I would get a small cheap car and then fix the truck up.
