Cool Psi?

Running 46 PSI carrying no weight traveling 10 miles per day. Door says 41 max and Michelin tires require 44 max. How is the steering being effected?

You are riding around on bricks. The steering is going to feel a bit easier.

Thank you.
Dealer mechanic put it there in attempt to create better steering so left it there past couple weeks as experiment.

by the way the suggested tire pressure is for best ride not best gas mileage. Minute difference in the gas mileage but still.

I run whatever the sidewall says to, usually 50 psi also, keep up on air pressure ,alignments and maitenace and the tires should last a long time.

I run 30 in the winter and 40 in summer. (wide foot print in winter). When i am out wheeling I usually drop to 12 in the front and 10 in the rear. Sometimes as low as 8.
