and no. it idles the same if its in park drive nuetral or reverse..... sometime the idle picks up a bit and isnt rough at all.... but lot alot. the rough has been more and more today. not in extremety... the same vibration just more regardless of hot or cold....

well if the chain was loose it could have jumped a tooth and it would idle horribly and would cut back

this problem just started.... the honeycomb in the cat shattered.... took it out.... 02 sensor went out. changed it... now has rought idle....

i'd start with the cheap parts first then work your way up.

replaced wires plugs dist. cap O2 sensor oil and filter cleaned the IAC and the throttle body....
