I've been wanting some e-fans anyway. But I don't want to spend the big bucks for the perma cool fans. I reckon I need to search to find the best (cheaper) e-fans. with reservoir options to replace mine since they're fitted to the shroud.

Mine has a little bit of play in it but it straight and true when running with no movement. so i dont know how bad it needs to be before you change it out

Yep you're from walton county LMAO!! that's something i would have done after a couple cases of beer and a few shot's of whisky

if you CAN stop the fan, then its bad..

EDIT: remember theres gonna be tension on the fan clutch (hard to spin). the only purpose for it is to "slip" when the engine is spinning. otherwise, if it didnt slip, you would have a super loud roaring under the hood. and if it didnt spin at all, obviously you wouldnt cool the engine down enough.

Well my fan doesn't roar and it definitely doesn't overheat, it actually runs pretty cool.
I'm debating whether I should drop 50$ on a new clutch or 250$ish on e-fans.
