Default multipule issues...

ok, got pissed at aamco today, went to take my own truck for a test drive... get in, starts great, just like normal, put the stick to reverse, and it wants to die out... neutral, its good, idles fine, drive, its fine....

put in drive, go down the road, and let it shift, gets to about 3500 and spits suppores, wants to die, let off a littel, ti shifts and runs fine, till about 3500 again, does the same thing..

cruise down highway at 55, and it will not go into overdrive at all.... just sitts in 3rd...

ok this is the question, the column selector, its not right, you have to accually push the selector up into park to get the key out to put in drive, you have to put it in 2nd, then slowly put it back into drive in order for it to accually go into drive and even then it slips out...

could this be causeing alot of problems lke overdrive not working? caue the trans is trying to be in two differant gears at once? also, it doesnt to the whole diing in reverse any more... that stopped the second time i put it in reverse, but if i kinda power brake in reverse, it does it again, liek its going to die.....

this could be moisture in the lines... the truck has been sitting in a shop for about amonth... so maybe.. ran fine before it went in...

His has a warrenty, just the problem he's having is the idiot's who built his transmission.

Man you need to just park that damn thing untill you can get that pos tranny outta there and get one from a different company seriously iv never seen some one have that much trouble out of a new/rebuilt trans

He's been making many multi-page threads over in 3rd gen. I'll leave it at that.
