If you really want the keyless entry, the aftermarket kits are pretty easy to install. I've installed the Bulldog security keyless entry kits with remote start on several vehicles, including a '97 ram. Their website shows exactly what colors the specific wires are on your vehicle

that's a good idea mopar, I dunno why I never just thought to do that. Are those bulldog units any good? I installed a security system and car starter in my old Beretta with no problems, can't see that bein a big deal
