Default Tire Fit question for 97 3500 4x4 dualley

Okay I'm totally new to this site and this is my first post.

I have A 97 Ram 3500 4x4 with DRW (Dual Rear Wheels)

I have a 2" leveling kit installed and I want to run a 295/75/16 tire on the stock rims. I realize that I will need a 2" spacer for the rear.

I have been to 4 tire shops and they all tell me that the biggest tire that will fit is 235/85/16.

I have seen 315/75/16 tires mounted on stock rims for the Leveling kit ads in Diesel Power Magazine.

So the question is will a 295/75/16 tire fit on a OEM rim? Which (I believe is a 6" wide rim)
Thank you,
Bruce

As long as you have the center spacer's for the rear then there shouldnt be an issue.
