ok, i have this same problem, you know what it is. My dashboard. The inner pieces have broken off and the still connected pieces, like a diving board make that kinda noise. Do you have a dash cover on?

Nah....My dash is stock...lol. Or atleast has not yet cracked...a common problem I see from here, but I guess for now I'm considered lucky.....
