If your only going to replace the gasket make sure you get shorter bolts too

Prove it. I know that before I used to say the same thing (What an idiot, because I've never been in a truck w/a M1), but I have never seen a dyno sheet that says either way.

Horse power and torque are trade offs. M1 puts a few more ponies in the upper rpm range. That degrades torque numbers, may not be a significant amount but that happens. And it has a higher rpm range, it says idle to 6k, but it doesnt really preform until 2k-6k. Were talking about a completely stock engine though. With a few other mods, yeah I dont see it hurting low end
