should i be able to move the track bar easly by hand and the one that has a shock on it, i thinks its the drag link?? its a (1998 4x4 1500) i live in idaho so im pretty hard on the old girl, went threw transfr case a few months ago.

My drag link moves with little resistance too... But I also have a "thump" feeling in the floorboard that I haven't been able to figure out yet... Hopefully new shocks and maybe upper control arms will cure that... I'm interested in responses to your question as well.

mine has play as well....ill let you know if they do cause problems when loose, for ive replaced half the front end parts, and have the other half waiting to be installed...only things i didnt get were drag link, trac bar, and drop pitman arm....i have a hop when turning left, and a squaking when braking fromthe pass. front tire.....so if these problems i have persist, it has to be one of those causing, which would lead to you having the problem soon as well, for we both have them as loose parts
