cut the fenders, convert to rear steer... for the 4w steering
and im going up to the 54 boggers.. lol

There is a hybrid mopar big block out there that is supposed to be pretty good. It is a 400 BB block with a 440 BB crank, largest bore and longest stroke mopar, that makes a 452 ci motor. It is also less expensive because the 400 blocks are not in high demand.

not sure you need to put a hemi in since they can get pricy and a 440 or maybe just the 360 with a 408 stroker kit could get you alot of power.

The rear steer would be great, ive always wanted rear steer in my truck but have not got the chance yet.

And dont get 54s they would be to much tire no matter what motor you put in, if its for mudding i would go with a 42-44 inch bogger

Cummins and a built 47RH... Doesn`t get any more solid than that. Do the D60 up front and jump to a D80 rear. Best part is the motor mounts are the same and IIRC so is the crossmember, all the holes are there for the intercooler too.

Then again, I`m just a tid bit biased on that suggestion since I own a CTD. I will admit that at times I do miss listening to the pipes on a V8, but that`s why I`m dropping a magnum in an Intrepid...

im just saying... i was thinking of doing 440, and a built *** torque flight 727... i still may, but i dont know if i want that extra 500 lbs up front...

but if i went with a 527, i have enough motor to push that etra wieght...

i am pretty sure im just going to do a N/A built 318 and be happy... i dont need power when you can gear for torque

in my opinion you should go with a blown 440, 727 torque flight, rockwells, and 46" mickey tompson claws, that would be sick. trim the fenders, roll them under and do some custom tubing.

The R3 small block can go as high as 472ci safely. Smaller, lighter & stronger than the 440s along with PATC Ramzilla stgV or a built 727 if you dont need od & it all bolts in
