Throttle response-_-_-_-_-_-
yes the plenum is gone.......and seafoam doesnt really clean out the intake, at least on mine MCCC, and Seafoam did nothing to the oil build up....yea it ran a little bit better, but wasnt anything significant, Which is why i had a machine shop completly clean my manifold, THAT made a HUGE difference, with the hughes plenum and kegger mod.....big difference.....thats the way you want to go.....andwill cost maybe 150 bucks for everything.....Cost me 40 bucks to make the intake look brand new, they charged 25 to do kegger mod, and 86 for the hughes plenum kit (mine was 116 with second day shipping)
Cars are my specialty. Thats what ive been through college for... First build was a 73 Chevy. Bit easier without alot of electronics... But they are basic as well...
TB is clean. I figured the plenum would be bad with all the chatter here about it. Was gna wait to do that with the intake swap... IAC and TPS are going in today. The CAT has no honeycomb. It is hollow.... And O2 sensor went in last week. Oil and filter were just changed. I think it may be injectors. Ive used some fuel system cleaner but I may not have some working... Ill check them out today.

It is torque management. My truck does the exact same thing. It feels great at part throttle but you stomp it and it is no faster. It really annoys me. I plan on running MegaSquirt to get rid of it and to get a custom tune.
It is stand alone or piggyback engine controller. I am going to use it to control the fuel and ignition on the truck. The stock computer will do everything else. Yeah I am sure I will have a check engine light but that doesn't bother me.
Torque Management is the computer pulling timing so that peak power is not made.
