Default Bought another 2gen in california

Well,
I forgot my password, and FINALLY it was able to be emailed to me...some glitch did not allow me to get the password reset email.

ANYWAYS,
I sold my 1996 4x4 dodge ram 1500 crew (but not before I took off all the parts) and bought a 2001 4x4 xtended cab (california customs package with brush guard, running rails, lift AND THE DEATH FLASH). Only 45000 miles on it and still on warranty...so no aftermarket chip. And the only thing I put on from my old ram was the fastman.

I was wondering what I should expect from a california bought dodge (I was in CA for 6 months going to school). It it a native californian, so what would be on the car limiting its performance (except for the flash). I am wondering since I am a NJ native, and currently live in Arkansas. What is california emissions equipment?

the only thing that would "restrict" it is the cat. It has to be C.A.R.B. compliant. Other then that, your good to go. I live in Nor Cal and have a 97 and, before my tranny went out, it hauled ***. It's pretty much stock. On the bright side, since it's out of Cali, your resale should be slightly better...that's according to what I know. I'm sure someone else will chime in with a boat load of info that I don't know about.

Well, I bought it for 10,000 with 42K. A friggin steal. I am so glad he backed into a metal pole with his tailgate down. I didn't even notice the dent until he told me. And also, his ex fainlyt keyed "dick" into the passenger side. It gets hidden with some heavy waxing. buit it will always be the "Dickmobile"

I am looking to run it until it stops working...like my 1996. THe 96 barely made the trip from Oklahoma to California ( going thru texas, arizona and the mojave desert sucked...could not use AC).

For 10K I could not pass it up. I need to take and upload some pics.
