What's wrong with your steering? Is it 2wd or 4wd? Are you doing it yourself? If your replacing all of it, you better have plenty of cash, even if you buy "toys are us" parts! One bad balljoint can cause it to steer like $hit.

I am a pretty good mechanic, and have most of the tools I need. I just replaced the upper and lower BJ's ha ha. The joint in the track bar is shot. I have 255,000 miles and alot of the joint bearings are worn. Tie rod ends, pitman arm joint you know stuff like that. Nothing really wrong for say it is just time to make a plan and a list. I love my truck and enjoy working on it and it is paid for so it is cheaper then finding something else and is still a true Americn Bad A$$. When I start ordering parts i want to make sure I get the right stuff.

I get all my stuff like that at rockauto.com (and I don't work there, or own the place).I can't find anybody to beat there price and selection, and they're fast. If you don't have a Haynes Repair Manual, get one. Great for part replacment and torque specs. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Repai...item53dfb67998

One of my first investments when I buy a used vehicle, but some times they can be misleading trying to cover so many years such.

All the 94-01 steering is the same, and most everything else. It tells all the changes in models in this one. None of them are completely acurate.I use mine for the specs, and the codes mostly.Keep an eye on Ebay and you can get one dirt cheap. I got mine for $6 shipping included.
