He has a point. I set fire to my 1996 when I installed a fuel catalyst in line fuel filter and did not wait for the gas to evaporate (forgot to purge).

hence why I put on a fastman TB, and new injectors (the MSD came later because I found it when i thought I left it in my old house).

Got the truck running and even survived a trip from OK to CA....thru the dessert!!!

good. you might want to check out these:

http://www.harlandsharp.com/dodge_magnum.htm

These are perfect for those who want extra hauling power. I almost got them a year ago because i move so much and pack my truck heavy. But the truck is still under warranty. 2012 will be a great year. But I am currently doing research. I know I can put on headers and not void the warranty. But I would rather just wait until I can do a few more things.

Comparing their lift to overpriced "Computer friendly" camshafts is about the same. Plus they are direct bolt ons!!!

Right now, the plan is this:

Harland sharp roller rockers
Hughes F-1 intake
aftermarket ignition specifically for 4x4s (looking at mallory, but the MSD I swapped out from my thirdgen camaro worked perfect)
shorty headers
SCT from hughes with all 3 of their programs.

I was thinking of just putting on a NOVI, but I don't want to have to replace my tranny along with that upgrade.

Expect your FIRST tranny to go at 70K if you are running bigger tires and do not have the OFF ROAD package with taller gears.

dude,if you are gonna overhaul the motor, get a better cam setup. i have a few boltons and i am not even close to being satisfied with the power. got a underdrive pulley ordered and gonna get a different intake too. and i know i still wont be satisfied.

just my opinion.
