Default New aircleaner and TB installed - Pic's inside

Alright so i got my new aircleaner from jeg's and it's alot nicer than the one i had on my durango, not really sure what they did to it but it seems like it's built alot better. As some of you already know i had a few issues last night putting my TB back togeather because i couldnt get the butterflys lined up correctly, Well that wasnt the issue. Apparently at some point my TPS got ****ed up for whatever reason so all i had to do was take the TPS off of the other TB and boom she fired right up and idled around 700 which is where she usually sits at idle.

Now to the pics

Heres the new air cleaner

ley me know how that aircleaner works for ya, i was eyeing one up last week but passed on it bc i didn know if it would fit on the throttle body right. didnt feel like measuring.
you should do the throttle body mod also, although you just put that one on. i did it on mine and noticed big time throttle response. only took an hour to do too.

Yep i was thinking about it while i was putting it on, im just outta cutting wheels for the drimmel and didn feel like going to the store. Plus i wanted to make sure the damn truck was going to run for tomorrow because i got another job interview at 11:30 an i didn want to have to **** with it in the morning. SO i will have my wife pick up some wheels from homedepot today and i will mess with it on tuesday.

when i did mine, i started with a dremel.....well 45 min later when i was only 20% done with it i got fed up and just started using my grinding wheel and that worked great, then i used the dremelagain to final touch it and polish it up and make everything smooth. it makes a nice howl when you get on the throttle and the responce is 100% better than stock. i havent noticed any power gains or even gas mileage gains. did the mod 2 months ago

If you have the K+N already why would you downgrade? The reason the 14x3s are so popular is because they are cheap. They aren't more effective then the FIPK kit.

It's not really a downgrade. I've never really believed in CAI's and there promise of this and that. Plus the 14x3 or the Pro Flo he got looks way cooler than a CAI.
