Look for the two small holes inside the bores. If you have them then you have an EGR throttle body.

bwdakrt,

I got the throttle body last week, it looks and works great, I was going to return you my original, but I have an air horn that was broken off at some point, I know that you remove them anyway, so is this a problem?

thanks again

Glad to hear you like it. As for the air horn, can you PM me a pic of which one is broken off? Thanks.

Default Great!

Got my throttle body this week and installed it on my 99 5.2 Dakota 5 speed 4x4. The TB looks awesome. Even included the rounded head allen bolts and gasket. First thing I noticed right out of the driveway was how much smoother the throttle response was. Next thing I noticed was that I was getting 2-4 MPG better when cruising at 55! I haven't driven the 25 miles yet that the directions said it takes to relearn the air/fuel but I'll let everyone know how it goes and how much my actual MPG improved.

This is a great product and at an incredible value. I'm shipping my old one back for free which I think everyone who buys one of these should do. I was just wondering if the return address on the box was the best address to ship it to?

Wish you were around before I got rid of my '02. Never got a TB because I just couldn't see spending $300 on one. Done anything w/ the 5.7's?
