I just bought a second remote keyless entry fob from ebay with free programming instructions. Well, the instructions that they provided have procedures that involve pushing a panic button on my current remote. My current remote is only a 2 button remote without the panic button. Does anyone know of any other way to program the remote besides taking it to the dealer??? I have read about shorting out the DLC to do this on other Chrysler vehicles. I just don't want to spend any more $$$ to get this second remote programmed if I don't have too.

 

might be able to take it to a shop that handle's sound system's and keyless entry and see if they can point you in the right direction. You dont always have to resort to going to the dealer
