I have purchased a set of impact sockets for $15 and I purchased the corded impact gun for $30. At $30 you are correct. If the thing breaks I will chuck the thing. I also have a service set for $40 for ball joints / ujoints that will get abused by the impact gun. And some other odds and ends that were on sale like a security torx bit set for $7.99 just in case I ever need one, and one of the "third hands" for soldering stuff for $1.99. Thats all I have purchased from harbor freight to date.

Ironic... you say you can not agree more with VWandDodge about getting quality, and in his last post he was talking about spending more (buy the $330 dash) that is the complete dash I posted instead of the caps you are finding... and yet you ask is there any place cheaper. If you agree with him so much, throw the $330 on the dash + paint + ship for the dash. Go on, spend the same amount of money you bought your truck for
The item is of the dash. Not of a cap. What I was agreeing with is that buying cheap tools at a cheap price isn't always the best thing to do (as the old mantra says, "you get what you pay for"). I was simply stating that I found a quality dash for a decent price, but was looking for somewhere cheaper for the same quality. If there isn't a place around that's cheaper, that's fine, as long as its better than the cheap crappy OEM quality.

As long as you follow best known methods they bond fine. Clean the plastic thoroughly, sand the plastic surface with some 60 or 80 grit in order to provide a better mechanical bond, clean the surface again and use an epoxy to wet out the cloth. DO NOT USE POLYESTER. Poly has extremely poor mechanical bonding characteristics. There is a reason it's cheap.
