Default Where is this noise comming from!?

Ok guys I think the search is sending me in the right direction but I'm not 100% sure so if you could help me out I would appreciate it. Ok so today when I got to school I noticed an interesting rattle while I was pulling into the garage. I thought at first it was my nerf bars or my 3rd and 4th doors rattling. Didn't think too much about it I opened and closed all the door and checked the bars. Everything seemed to be in order. After class I got in the truck and started to leave and the rattle was still there. I just kinda shrugged it off and continued home.

On the way home I decided to take the back roads to see what this rattle was. Going over heavy bumps = nuttin. Turning in circles = nuttin. Braking hard = sometimes. Braking lightly = always. So I'm thinking break job. But just want to make sure I'm going in the right direction here.

So i only get the rattle when I brake lightly. I can't really tell where the rattle is comming from. I can actually feel the rattle under my foot. It feels like it is right under the floorpan but there is nothing there?? So Im a little stumped. Maybe a bearing? I even thought maybe the t-case. Nope all checked good. Any other thoughts on what to check next? I'm gonna get under the truck tonight and see what I can find.

When my wheel bearing went bad I could feel it in the floor while driving.

When was the last time you replaced your shocks?

I had a similar rattle that was the shock bolts, especially the top ones, coming a little loose a few dozen miles after installing new ones. Had them tightened, no rattle.

Just another idea thats fairly easy to check, and free.

I never thought of the shocks. Good call. I crawled under the truck when I got home and didn't see anything out of the ordinary. But I know the shocks may need replaced they were on there when I bought it. so Maybe when I get my tax money I'll do a leveling kit and shocks at the same time.
