i cant view it, because im on a restricted comp... so im guessing just by the info, its a bad cat...

A 3" in/out Magnaflow is only 70$ on summitracing.com, so if your factory cat is one pipe in and one pipe out then you can save 170$ on a cat.

His 1996 will not be a one inlet/one outlet cat. It will be the "regular" two to one older cat design.

They didn't really start the whole larger single in/single out cat design until 1999 or 2000 ish. However, he can always have his exhaust changed to use it.

Well that bites. Time for a home made y pipe to make it a 1-in 1-out with a new o2 bung to relocate the upstream o2 sensor to the pipe and get it out of the cat.

well... now that i can look at the video... that is definatly the cat is bad.... WAY TO MUCH BACK PRESSURE to run right is what yoru experiancing... you can either get the 1 in 1 out at and make it work with like what sherriff is saysing or just buy a 2 in 1 out cat for the truck nd go that way...
