I just had trans rebuilt recently. 98 ram 4 x 4. New torque conv and removal and replacement of trans done by shop for $1250 cash. 12 month 12000 mile warranty. Hope it lasts much longer...

 

I hope it does too. That is a good deal on the rebuild, they normally run about 1500-2000$ from a reputable shop.

 

He was the one that was recommended to me the most. I live in mississippi, so it may be a little cheaper here. We just got shoes and teeth, ya know.

 

I'm sure you have the spark plugs gapped properly and the firing order correct but I don't want to overlook the obvious; when was the cap and rotor and PCV valve replaced last? What about the O2 sensors? Have you changed the oil and filter since the replacement?
