Yea I emailed dodge an it took exactly 7 days to get a return email I thought that was pretty good considering

 

Brandon, are you going in to get those recalls taken care of ? hey free new parts an labor

mine had a 6 way power seat...although somewhere between me buying it and the day it rolled off the line it got replaced with a regular one..although something tells me by the rusty seat brackets, and the whole the size of my fist in the side of the seat that it wasnt to far after the first owner got it

You actually have a 26 gallon tank, not a 28.

1500s:
Long bed = 35 gallon tank (some older Rams this was an option, towards the middle and end of the 2nd gens it was standard equipment)
Short bed = 26 gallon tank

2500s:
Long bed = 35 gallon tank
Short bed = 26 gallon tank with option for a 34 gallon tank

The gas gauge is never accurate. When mine is on the "E", I still have 4 gallons or so left. I'm betting when yours is on "E", you actually have 5 gallons left. I'm assuming Chrysler did this on purpose as a measure of safety, because they knew people would run it all the way down.
