If it hasn't been taken care of before, it is leaking, period. All gas Dodge Rams 1994-2001 have this issue.

Mine didn't look bad at all, very similar to what you described. That is, until I took it off to have it fixed, and there was half a quart of oil in there.

I don't know if you are talking about me. If it was I was asking a simple ****ing question. The question was asked because I don't have a lot money at this time and trying to fix as need. If there is a problem about one ****in word being misspelled don't reply then if it pisses you off.

I normally don't get upset, but when you question something you to ask right? There really is no need for any of the comments you are right. I was in hurry this morning

It's alright buddy, don't take any offence. You can check to see if your PCV valve is leaking by taking the valve off and looking on the vacuum line side for oil.

Beyond a shadow of a doubt though, your plenum is leaking as well.

Since neadsspeed got his answer, I'm locking this thread down.

Insulting someone's education is not a great way to welcome a new guy.

If you want someone to do a better job of checking their spelling/grammar, ask them nicely the first time. I'm not asking you to ***** foot around, I'm just asking you guys (you know who you are) to be polite and courteous. You may have to do it frequently, as we get new members all the time. They're new, give them a break.
