Default Starting issue, No CE light = No start.

I'm troubleshooting a starting problem on my 95 2500 360 v8. For those of you whom have had a fuel pump and or ECU failure here's my issues.

Put in key and no CE light means no start also no fuel pump. All other lights come on tho.

Put in Key and CE comes one, Fuel pump fires up and engine starts (10 cranks or so) and runs fine.

Put in key and CE comes one and flashes really fast = No start, Turn off key turn back on and CE light stable = Start,

When the no CE issue is present I cannot get the CE to send flash codes. There are no codes when it does come on.

When I get the no CE issue it used to be a few off/on and the CE would come on and engine would start, Today 27 times before the CE came on.

So which should be my main suspect? I already set out the baited traps for any remaining gremlins.

Someone with more knowledge might come up with a better idea, but from my troubleshooting experience. Faults like that would lead me in the direction of an electrical issue somewhere.

Have you checked, wires, grounds, shorts at all? Could be a loose connection somewhere, that is acting up only every once in awhile.

Tracing wiring and am currently focasing on the relay box.

Today I got the auto shutdown and the fuel pump relays to clicking away high speed during a no CEL incident.

Pulled the FP relay and the ticking continued, pulled the shutdown and it stopped until I swapped in another relay then continued ticking away until i reset the key again.

I believe it's a gremlin and that I need better bait.
