Default PCM in The 2001 Ram 1500

Hey guys,
The check engine light came on in my truck. I read the code and it came back P0601 Memory Check Sum Error. Upon futher research, I discovered that meant the PCM was bad (even though the truck still ran fine). Little things like a check engine light staying on all the time drives me crazy. The dealer wanted over $1000 to replace the PCM. I looked on the internet and got one from a company in Florida and installed it last night. The PCM was $250. It is a Reman and flashed with my VIN.
The company is http://www.allcomputerresources.com/. All I know about them is this one purchase. It fixed my problem so I'm happy about it. I just wanted to pass along the info to you guys. I'm not sure if $250 is a good deal or not, but it beats the price the dealer was quoting.

Talking pcm replacement

That's crazy man, I just got one from them today too. Same 601 code. And she ran great, except for the check engine light. I wasn't so worried about it unitl I found out " the man " won't give me an inspection with the light on. Allcomputerresources is the only place I will deal with from now on.
I ordered it on Monday and had the pcm by Thursday. Bolted it in and now I can be street legal again. and when you talk to them on the phone they are real helpful. Make sure you have a good ground they said.

I am getting ready to buy from these guys, but after reading some reviews I am thinking twice. Any other options then this company for the same price. I don't want to get shafted. I already dumped about a grand into the truck in the last week getting ready for a 4 month long road trip.
