Default No 3500 brake upgrade for 2000,2001?

I am looking to do the 3500 wheel cylinder upgrade.
From reading on here, You just get the wheel cylinders for the same year as your truck.
Looking at Auto Zone, Napa and Advance auto they all show the same part for the 3500 as the 1500, the 1" bore wheel cylinders.

It shows the 1-1/16 bore on the 1999 3500.

The 3 different years all look different in the pics they show also.

So, Is it possible to run the 1-1/16" bore cylinders on a 2000 or 2001?

You already have the bigger wheel cylinders, no need to upgrade.

if I am not mistaken, you are supposed to look for the same year chevrolet 3500 wheel cylinders. thats what I did although mine's a '97 they were larger/better. don't know if this helps your year/situation.

Brake systems changed in 2000 so 99 and older parts will not interchange. You shouldn't need to upgrade, as stated you have larger bore cylinders.

Wow, so, I already have the bigger cylinders and dual piston calipers, and I still don't think the brakes are that good. Maybe I need to adjust the rear drums.
