I was running the 93 tune with no blown plenum and was pinging like hell! But found out the premium fuel at Valero isn't worth a damn. So I went to shell, dumped a container of Lucas Fuel Additive (Red Bottle), filled up with premium, let it run through the lines a bit, and she worked like a charm. I noticed a lot better "pull" throughout the powerband.

how much power does the 87 tune give? my thinking is if it has more power i wont floor it as much so better mpgs, also i really dont want to run 93 because i use it to pull my race car to the track, if i had to run 93 i would just drive my race car, slicks and all haha
