tranny shifting problems...
ok, i've posted in my previous thread, but because of the title of it, i dont think it gets the attention i need for this problem. my tranmission is having some major shifting problems. it shifts in OD way too early. also, it will not downshift at all. won't downshift when i come to a stop and almost stalls, and it won't downshift when i press the peddle to the floor. the only way i can get it to downshift is to do it manually. any suggestions or answers are greatly appreciated. thanks!
but what problem though? thats what i'm trying to find out lol. thats what i was thinking as well, but i'm not exactly sure. the torque converter is locking up into OD way too soon, and wont unlock unless i manually downshift...so idk if its something like the kickdown solenoid, or maybe the BRAND NEW tq converter is bad? i have no idea....i foresee myself pulling the damned tranny out AGAIN to fix something...
think maybe it would be the OD/TCC solenoid? would make sense, but not exactly sure. i'm quite frustrated right now. the whole swap did not go well at all, and i will probably have to pull the trans again anyway to replace the flexplate and/or tighten the bolts for it (its hitting something in the bell housing, loud ticking noise...go figure).

when i had my flex plate cover off one time i put it back on without hooking the lip properly on the oil pan and it hit the flexplate as it rotated.
