Default Cleaning up the rims.

Well,

My rims were scratched to crap, so I decided today I would work on getting them nice and clean again. Started out by using some 1200 grit ultra fine rubbing compound on a mini-da with a black buffing pad.

First two pics are before pics of the rear rims second ones are after.

Any other tips to getting these things to look better? Someone told me buff some cleaner wax into them, going to try that tommorrow also. Also going to do my hitch ball tommorrow too, thing's nasty.

btw next time you get tires get them to mount the weights on the back makes the rim look better and wont oxidize the metal or cause rust if they are steel wheels

I need to get a good shine on my front wheels. The brake dust likes to eat alloy wheels.
