I also have a 01 offroad see pic below..


Offroad package includes (Most of which are mentioned)

- Color Scheme Lights Bumpers painted to match also fog lights
- Heavy Duty package
- 4.10 gears
- Limited Slip in rear axle
- Trussed front axle (D44)
- Tighter gear ratio in the steering box, less turns of the steering wheel.
- Aux tranny cooler (HD Package i believe)
- Heavy Duty Alt, Battery, radiator (HD Package also)
- 5.9 Engine
- Special Badges
- 1 inch factor lift (Most say two but paper work says 1)
- 17 inch wheels
- Quad headlights

That is all i can think of now.. I just got mine about 2 months ago have put maybe 3k miles on it my self and have loved every mile. It will pass anything but a gas station!!

That's a nice truck, and thanks for the run down. I looked into the 17" wheels and re-conditioned on ebay they're 140 apiece. I like them and thought they'd be cool with some 37" tires or something, but they are only 8" wide.

I hate my nerf bars, gonna get those rock bars with the steps and color match them to the truck

i hate nerf bars on lifted trucks....i think they make the truck look lower. removed mine the same day i lifted it

I know what you mean, and i'm sure you've seen the ones I'm talking about. They hug the rocker panels tight, but there is a small step that protrudes out a bit so us old fat guys can get in these lifted trucks, LOL. They are made of heavy steel, too, so for those of us that ain't scared of an off-road adventure of mud, or snow, or... rocks, can crawl with confidence that our rocker panels are safe and sound.

What size are your tires, by the way?

yeah i know what your talking about, sometimes kown as rock sliders. my tires are pro comp x-terrain 35's
